What are the office hours?
We have two staffed office locations:
Eureka Office (4055 Broadway):
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
McKinleyville Office (2394 Central Avenue):
Tuesday–Friday, 9:30 AM–5:30 PM
Other facilities are remotely managed for your convenience.
What are the access hours?
All Rainbow Self Storage locations offer daily access from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, so you can get to your belongings when it works best for you.
What storage options do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of storage solutions, including drive-up units, interior and upstairs units, indoor vehicle storage, and indoor/outdoor RV and boat parking across our locations.
How do I pay my storage bill?
Payments are quick and easy with online bill pay, available 24/7. You may also make payments in person at one of our office locations during business hours.
How do I rent a unit?
Renting is simple! You can rent online, visit one of our staffed offices, or use available 24-hour kiosks at select locations for fast, self-service rentals.
What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
To rent a unit, you’ll need a valid government-issued photo ID, a valid Social Security number, and a form of payment to complete your rental agreement.
What unit size do I need?
The right unit size depends on what you plan to store. Our online size guide helps estimate space for boxes, furniture, business inventory, vehicles, RVs, and boats. Our team is also happy to help you choose the best fit.
Am I required to store long-term?
No. We offer flexible month-to-month rentals, allowing you to store short-term or long-term without being locked into a long contract.
What am I not allowed to store?
For safety reasons, tenants may not store hazardous, illegal, flammable, perishable items, lithium-ion batteries, or E-bikes. Please contact our office if you have questions about a specific item before storing.
What security features do you offer?
Security is a top priority at Rainbow Self Storage. Our facilities feature gated access, security cameras, bright lighting, and door alarms at select locations, providing peace of mind for your stored belongings.
